Embryo Adoption Success!
After 16 years of marriage and. Over a decade of trying to get pregnant we are well into our 23rd week!
When I was 21 I had MAJOR bowel surgery and that has been my main reason for infertility.
We tried foster to adopt in 2016 and that just about killed me when custody of the baby girl we brought home from the hospital was awarded to her father.
So we started looking into IVF again only to be told I didn't have enough eggs left. Again, crushed! I was 34 but hormonally 44!
So we started on the path to embryo adoption. (I know professionals don't like the term adoption here but that truly is more how our situation is structured.) This was September 2017.
In December 2017 an ER visit out of the blue announced I was pregnant! But not even a week later it was over.
After picking ourselves back up again we proceeded with our adoption process.
June 7, 2017 was the date the judge granted full custody of our foster baby to her dad. Our embryo transfer was June 7, 2018. A year to the date. Now that's God!
So, the first transfer took. And things have been going great. Everyday I thank Jesus for my little miracle baby girl, HaDessah, Embryo Adoption Service of Cedar Park, and the family that helped make my family possibble.
