I’m so nervous but I am so excited about this pregnancy. This is my 2nd baby...I’m only 6 weeks tomorrow. I had thyroid cancer and they removed my thyroid, and gave me radioactive iodine treatment. That was in 2016. I hope I can carry to term and have a healthy little baby. Has anyone experienced this? I see a lot that have thyroid issues but haven’t seen anyone without a thyroid.

UPDATE::March 20th, I posted last in October when I first found out I was pregnant. So far my meds were increased 4 x’s and then decreased once since finding out I was pregnant. Baby is doing good, I go in for my growth ultrasound next week. I am currently in the very beginning of my third trimester (27 weeks). I’m feeling good but am very tired A LOT. But I do have a 3 year old boy who has lots of energy and my husband has been out of state for work since the end of January so its been a little stressful as well. I take my glucose test this weekend and I’m a little nervous but not too nervous. I passed the one hour at 8 weeks but I guess as a thyroid cancer patient without a thyroid I’m more prone to getting gestational diabetes so they had to test me twice. I’ve been craving lots of sweets but have been drinking lots of water and eating veggies and fruits.
