My baby is here!!

Now that I’m home and settling into a routine i can tell my birth story! I was due on 10/20/18 with my baby boy! I went on Monday 10/25 to my midwife for my 39 week check! I was 4cm and 80% effaced so she stripped my membranes! Within hours i was cramping quite a bit and thought that was the night until they stopped. My lil man slept very well inside all night thankfully! The next morning felt one decent size contraction but that was it until about 330-4pm when i started feeling them a bit more but not consistent. By 430 they picked up and started to become consistent. Then by 530pm i knew i was in labor when they were about 7mins apart. Called the in-laws to get our 4yr old daughter and headed to the hospital about 745pm when they were about 5mins apart. Got to the hospital 830 and they were 1-2mins apart already. It was a bumpy ride and forced my contractions to come stronger. When at the hospital i was checked and was already 7cm. So they admit me and get me an epidural since the contractions were fast and super painful. After i received the epidural they broke my water at about 930pm. By 955 i was filled dilated and started pushing. 18mins later my little boy Isaac was born at 39 + 3

weighing 6lbs 12.3oz and 18in. He’s such a peanut but pure perfection! I now call his birth the fast and furious birth as it was only 5hrs of labor and less than 20mins of pushing! So happy to have him here and so in love!
