Gender reveal?? Yay or nay?

Okay so I have a gender determination ultrasound appt today so I could choose to find out now or should I have a gender reveal party? The only reason I’d want a party is cause it’d be fun and exciting for everyone BUTTTT I don’t really have the money or a place figured out and I’d have to wait even longer to find out the gender cause I’d have to plan a party.. idk what I should do... what did you guys do or what are you doing?

I personally think gender reveal parties are a waste of money. Kids cost a lot id rather save that money for stuff for my child.

You literally dont have to spend much money or plan anything really to have a gender reveal!. Balloons + box is like $10. Tell everyone to come over Saturday and order pizza it doesnt have to be that serious

We are doing a reveal party but keeping it small and intimate. It doesn’t have to be a big party, just have people come for a reveal and keep it that simple if needed!

I think gender reveal parties are silly and though it’s fun to reveal the gender, it’s not really that exciting or particularly interesting to people who aren’t the parents. We still did a special little reveal to our own parents and siblings but there was no party or anything extra about it and we still had runs with it. I’m actually really glad we found out during the ultrasound when it was just us, and after they moved us to one of the exam rooms and gave us a few minutes to ourselves so it was actually a really special moment I’m glad we had between us. We ended up waiting two days to tell anyone else so we could just enjoy celebrating!

Thanks guys.. I think I’m just going to find out at the ultrasound today then maybe reveal the gender in a fun way to our families! I’m so excited now that I get to know today lol 😆

If you can’t afford it do t break your back trying to do one. I would just invite a few family members and friends to the ultrasound and found out together and maybe go to lunch after. with my first two kids gender reveals weren’t even a thing. My family just went with me to my 20 week ultrasound and we all found out together

We are doing a gender revel . This is our third and last baby . Our family is helping so my dad is buying paying for the food . My in laws for the drinks . My Bestfriend will make some goodies . So I just have to buy decorations witch is 30$ on Amazon and my sister and sis in law will be coming to help me set everything up .  My husbands Bestfriend will be getting the tire burner for the gender so he will be the only one knowing , he will also be The Godfather of our baby and my Bestfriend the God mother .  We didn’t ask for any gifts though . Even though our families are big it’s just a big get together.( my family and husbands are all spread all over California ) .

Gender reveal is not really something we do where I'm from. I would also hate not to know at the ultrasound! I waited so long for that ultrasound you better tell me what I'm having 😂
