I just had surgery (mini laparotomy) done on 10/10/18 and my Dr. discovered a very swollen fallopian tube and a mass on my left ovary which was a complex hemorrhagic cyst about 5cm in size. A CA125 was drawn during surgery and the mass was sent to pathology for testing and thankfully

the blood test was negative for cancer and the pathology report came back as a benign tumor. I also lost majority of my left ovary. My right ovary was the larger of the two cyst at 7cm but luckily it was only fluid. Everything is going smoothly with the exception of the first four days but now 14 days into recovery, I'm having a lot of intense cramping on my right side. My last menstrual was 10/6/18 and based on my cycles my period would be due to come anytime from this Sunday to next Friday. Has anyone had this procedure? Is this to be expected?
