Two period in one month?

I had my period October 1st-5th it was heavier than normal I had to wear a tampon and a pad n it still fill my pad. Now I woke up bleeding pretty heavy. I have little cramp. I’ve recently got off the iud marina it been 5 months I’ve had it out. Any advice to why? I’m going call my doctor when they are open as well

I would say dont freak out but still write everything down and make a general check up with your OB. My concern is the filling of the pad AFTER the tampon.

Were your periods irregular before you had mirena? There’s a possibility there is more going on, unless you just got your period for the first time within the last two years.

That could just be a short cycle. Once I was extremely stressed out and I got my period every two weeks, very heavy. It sucked. So if you are under a lot of stress that could be it but honestly just sounds like a short cycle. I’m 37 now but when I was younger I always needed a tampon and a pad because my flow was really heavy.
