How did ur husband react when you told the bfp news? Mine doesnt seem to care at all and a month later he said he was ready ans really wanted to be a dad.

My husband just kept saying "thats awesome" in a very monotone voice. I think they just don't know how to react like its not real to them yet. My husband is excited now (and terrified as he's never done anything with babies) he got to see our baby kick my stomach and make it move the other night.

My husband was skeptical. Once the dr confirmed it and we saw the first ultrasound and heard the heartbeat he got excited. It really hit home when at 12 weeks it actually looked like a baby.

“ I know. It’s a boy” ... that was his response both times, & he was right about gender both times 😂

Yeah mines a bit complicated as we were planning a holiday, didn’t want to get pregnant (already have a 1 and a half year old) so he wasn’t overly happy or anything 😅 I was shocked too but now all is well and we are happy but the holidays been called off for now 😂 whoooops

I woke him up for telling him. He looked like he had fallen from the moon without a parachute, so he was somewhat confused and didn’t manage to understand a thing. I don’t think he really understood it before the first ultrasound at 19weeks.

We've had some trouble with conceiving so when I told him this time he was kind of bleh. It was a bit disheartening.  When I asked he just said he was terrified to lose the baby so he doesnt want to get to excited.  Now at almost 14 weeks with 3 ultrasounds down the hatch hes ecstatic and has been doting on like a mamma bird

My husband was happy but not like jumping up and down. Now that we’ve had the ultrasound he is a lot happier. I think it didn’t feel real for him right away.

My husband had tears in eyes the second he knew and started to hug and kiss me. He is beyond excited for our baby. He tells me everyday. He rubs my tummy and kisses it even though we are only 5 weeks. I fall more in love with him and our family everyday

My husband was super excited but nervous lol. He saw my 6 week us but only in a pic I sent him . He acted all kinda weird about it like he wasn’t sure then at our 21 weeks ultrasound he was crying and yelling “ ITS A BOY “ 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ lol now we have a 4 month old who loves more then anything . He was great the rest of the pregnancy. But men can’t feel what we feel. It’s like an immediate connection for women where as for men it isn’t
