Faulty test?

I took two tests in same package of EQUATE brand pregnancy tests. Took one last night and one this morning. Both are faintly positive BUT the positive line is horizontal instead of vertical on BOTH tests. What do you think? If I'm pregnant it is very early.

Faulty .. get a new brand of tests and retest

The equate brand pregnancy tests that I have use make a (+) sign for positive and a (-) for negative. The (-) sign will always be there. If you take the test apart you’ll see a marker that’s made into the test compartment that’s positioned horizontally marking the (-). It’s only considered positive if you see a (+) sign in the test area within the allotted timeframe. If you have the tests that should show a vertical line and you’re getting a horizontal line instead then the test is faulty and you should retest for accuracy. If you’re able to post a pic it may be easier for us to help but not knowing if you purchased a (+)/(-) test vs a (I I) test makes it a little hard to determine. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help.
