When do you tell your parents you are pregnant?

I told my parents at Christmas with my first, I was only 6 weeks. My second I told them at 5 weeks and ended up miscarrying soon after. I was glad I told them because I had their love and support while I was going through it. I would've hated to go through that alone. So I will continue to tell my parents soon after I find out myself.

I told mine when I thought I was 8 weeks along last time.  In person, because it was Xmas.  I found out I’d miscarried at 7.5 weeks when I got home to my first dr appt.  my parents were the only ones we had told. I cried to my mom and she told me about how she had miscarried twice before getting pregnant with me.  This time I’m going to tell her early because if it doesn’t happen again, she will be there for me.  I’m not telling anyone else though until after I see a heartbeat this time.

I think this depends on the person. People that are really close with their parents and tell them everything will tell them as soon as they find out. Others are more private, like me, and I don’t like to share until I know. I waited the 12 weeks and told my family. I love my family but I don’t like to share everything with them. And I would not want to have to tell them if I miscarried. I only told my partner and best friend.

I blew up my mom's phone. 😂😂😂 My positive came up in 10 seconds and I was about to pass out. I was a hysterical mess. I wanted to do a cute reveal but in that moment I couldn't wait to tell her.
