Safe? Or not?

Does anyone know if Deterra essential oils-past tense, is safe to use? 
I usually buy it from a family member so I don’t want to ask her as I don’t want many people knowing yet.

That stuff is all junk and a waste of money. Predatory business model that preys on stay at home moms.  Don’t support MLMs!!

Some essential oils (brand truly does not matter) are definitely NOT ok for pregnancy. The only one I know for sure is fine is lavender EO but even then I’m being cautious and not using any in my skincare until I give birth. And even then, some EOs are not ok for nursing mothers.
