What order do you wear your wedding set and why?

Tradition states your wedding band should remain closest to your heart and your engagement ring be placed on top. I've seen quite a few people wear theirs backwards with their engagement ring closest to their heard and was curious to see how may people wear theirs in the traditional order verses non traditional and why. If you wear your engagement ring first, why? Post a photo of how you wear yours if you'd like!

I wear engagement ring, then wedding band. I find the other way around to be backwards. The engagement ring was a promise, sealed with the band, having the wedding band first doesn’t make sense to me. Also, the engagement ring is generally much more expensive and is harder to lose with the band holding it in place.

I only wear my wedding band, unless it's a special occasion then I'll wear my engagement ring on top. My engagement ring gets in the way of doing my day to day things.

So in our ceremony, i was wearing my engagement ring. And he placed it on the outer side. And after the ceremony was over i flipped them around.

I wear my wedding band, then engagement ring.. I don’t always wear my engagement ring as it’s expensive and I don’t want it to get wear and tear so it’s easy to pop on and off (I don’t even sleep with it on). Also it’s closer to my heart for the wedding band!

I wear my band first then my engagement ring.  I used to wear the opposite way until A widow once told told me that if you wear your band on the outside then that means your husband died. I quickly turned them around although I'd never heard that before!! Lol! (Also don't mind my bad nail job. I called myself trying a new salon... never again.)

I don't have a band but I think traditionally it's supposed to go on the bottom (facing you)
