Possible diagnosis

I have been having problems with cysts on my ovaries and intense amount of abdominal pains. My doctor has told me to go and see a GI specialist to make sure that it’s not my stomach causing the pains. If that comes back negative then I’ll have to go through the laparoscopic surgery to diagnose endometriosis. Has anyone else had to go through this long process to find out what’s going on? How old were y’all when y’all found out? I’m 18 and going through this along with being a heart and seizure patient
