Birthing classes
For the new moms who took birthing classes- do you feel it helped you during birth?
The the pregnant ladies- do you feel more comfortable going into labor since taking the class? Or do you feel you knew just as much as before taking it.
What about a breastfeeding course?
The hospital I'll give birth in offers a 5 week birthing class - 2 hours a week. For 115 a couple. Or a 1 day course for 8 hours. Same price. As many of you know- having a baby on the way means really thinking through every purchase. Back in the day people didn't take birthing classes so I just wonder if it's worth it.
The breast feeding course I've heard is useful as breastfeeding can be hard sometimes. And I really want to breastfeed my son. I don't want him born and then I need classes because I have an issue with something. This course is a 2 hour thing for only 30. That may very well be worth it.
