I’m 35. He’s 54. It’s SO refreshing to be in a relationship with a grown up and not an immature boy. There’s none of the “does he like me” anxiety that I’ve gone through so many times before. He tells me how he feels all the time. He’s consistent with his words and his actions. If there’s a problem, I know we can have a civil conversation about it. I don’t have to worry about him threatening to leave if we have a disagreement. When I introduced him to my parents, I didn’t worry that he was going to say or do something stupid and embarrass me.

He is completely different from everyone else I’ve dated. At first the age difference freaked me out a bit, but now I’m so thankful for it.
