Endo symptoms and scope

So, my OB/GYN and I believe that I have Endo. I’ve had a vaginal ultrasound - but it didn’t reveal anything. My doctor told me that is sometimes the case even though you get a confirmed diagnosis through a Lap scope later.

I have terrible cramps during my period and have some intense cramps through the month as well. During my period I have extreme pain when having a bowel movement or peeing and I go through Super+ tampons with-in an hour.

My mother had endometriosis and adenomyosis, so the family history is also there.

Anyhow, my doc believes I, more than likely, have it and wants me to consider getting the scope with-in the next year. Im only 20, but these periods are debilitating and keep me from getting out of bed some days. I’m actually quite nervous about it.

Did any of you have similar symptoms? What are your experiences with scope? What is post-op like?
