birth control!!!!! whoop whoop

okay, so i haven’t been diagnosed with endo, but it’s a very big concern of mine given the fact that both my mom and her mom had it & i feel like i’ve been having a lot of symptoms for the past couple of months (including some EXTREMELY painful cramps)

2 months ago, my mom and i went to the doctor after some really bad cramps that had me bed ridden and crying. doctor prescribed birth control, but since i live out of town for school, we never really got the chance to go pick it up. didn’t think it was a big deal - i tend to over dramatize things anyway so i thought i’d be fine

fast forward to halloween - the SCARIEST thing happened. after cramping for a week, my period finally started and it brought even more painful cramps. i was on the floor crying my eyes out. i’d taken midol, and it used to help, but the pain just wouldn’t go away :(( so, my wonderful roommates helped me set up an appointment with the clinic and GUESS what - ya girl is going on birth control for SURE

finger crossed that the pain is a little more bearable!
