Decaf coffee for children?

Opinions? Is this ok or no? When I get coffee at a roaster I always remember when I was a little girl and my mom would get my decaf cappuccinos when she’d get her caffeinated coffee. Idk if this is ok or not and I’m interested to see some opinions on the matter! It’d be so fun to take my little girls out and get them some coffee if it’s safe.

Decaf has 1/3 rd the caffeine as regular, which is still a lot of caffeine for a little one especially with a cappuccino. I’m pretty sensitive to caffeine so I always get decaf & I still have to be careful about the time of day & limiting to 1 cup. Saying it’s not very much caffeine just isn’t true

There is very little caffiene in it. I dont see a problem with it. People do tea parties with their kids so i think its like that

I'm assuming it would be fine. But you could also do hot chocolate. I normally get my boys a cup of whipped cream at Starbucks with a lid and straw and they love it. My oldest always asks for his "coffee" when I go. You could always call the pediatricians office real quick, they should be able to answer over the phone

No, a hot chocolate, I’m 26 and still can’t stand the smell of coffee on someone’s breath, also ruins your teeth.

It's your choice... my son and I have zero reaction to caffeine. He can have coffee a few hours before bed and still sleep through the night. Just turned 3.
I see plenty of moms get their kids drinks at Starbucks, I think it's super cute and something special to share with them.

I’ve been drinking caffeinated coffee (little bit of coffee, little bit of sugar, and milk) since I child drink out of sippy cups 😂🤷🏼‍♀️ I turned out just fine! 😋☕️ my parents were very into role modeling, they didn’t eat or drink anything we couldn’t!

My grandma used to give me cold decaf black coffee in a sippy cup once in a while when I was little and I turned out fine 🤷‍♀️ I loved it for some reason.

I don’t think a little caffeine here or there would be that harmful. (Unless your child has a history of bad behaviour or inability to sleep, with caffeine). 
Maybe do decaf? Even though it still has caffeine, it would probably be fine.

I don't see why it would be a problem. Every time I go to Starbucks I have always got my oldest either a hot chocolate or a cappuccino. And when she was around 2 to 3 she would drink a few sips of my mom's coffee when she was watching her. (I didn't know at the time)
