It’s a boy??? Help!

14w4d today and found out yesterday through genetic testing, I’m having a healthy baby BOY! Honestly I’m excited but either way because this is my first :) but I never pictured myself having a boy. I grew up around girls and feel so incapable when it comes to boys I’m afraid I’m not going to know what to do with one lol so if anyone could share some cute baby boy names or awesome perks of raising boys or products I need or anything BOY related, HELP lol

Omg I wasn’t sure what to do with a boy either but my little guy is 1 now and he brings me so much joy! He is so funny and such a little explorer. It’s so funny to see him vs his girl cousin who is 3 months younger than him. She is very loud and her actions are much more dramatic than his. He is more on the quiet side compared to her. When he sees her getting going like she does sometimes, he looks at her like, “what’s this girls problem?” Haha. He loves to play rough and he growls like a monster or a dinosaur. He is just a little goofball and so much fun. We are having a girl in April and I’m super excited but now with my boy, I feel like I have no idea what to do with a girl! Haha.
When I found out I was having a boy, I was upset about not being able to dress him in cute stuff, but I actually love the boy clothes, like in this picture! The clothes get cuter as they get older!

I grew up around lots of girls, my Mum only had girls so did her sister and their Mum (my Nan) had girls. It’s about 4/5 gen of girls! I’m the eldest granddaughter and they all said when I was pregnant you won’t have a boy, we only have girls (total codswallop I know). I didn’t find out and when the midwife presented me a boy I was completely shocked and so so happy. I could hear my Mum outside saying a boy? Are you sure! Haha! He’s 3 now and he’s so super. I love being a boy Mum, we’re so close and he amazes me every day even though at every opportunity he tells strangers that I’ve farted when I haven’t!! 😳

My son is the biggest mommas boy and sweet heart ❤️ Don’t be scared that he’ll be hyper and crazy like some people may say. My son has always been so chilled, artistic, and inquisitive. He has been such a joy in my life I’m hoping my second is another boy. Just remember when you change a diaper to immediately put a rag or put the diaper back on him after you open up the diaper. You WILL get peed on 😁 took me about a month to figure that out.

I’m in the same boat. Currently 16 weeks with a boy. I was shocked, I only ever imagined myself having a girl. I grew up with 2 sisters and no boys in the fam. I know people say boys love their mommas but I’m nervous that because I’m the breadwinner working outside the house and my husband with be stay at home father, I’m gonna end up being “chop liver” in a boys club. 😔
