Is it just me or does anyone else thinks it’s dangerous to hang picture frames over a baby’s crib?

I want to say something every time I see someone post their nursery with things near/above the crib but know I'll get attacked by a bunch of women saying it's totally fine and to mind my business. It's not even that the kid cant reach it or you don't have earthquakes in your area or any other excuse. Drywall can weaken from the weight over time and the items can fall or the wall could get bumped knocking stuff down. Hell my calendar eventually has to be moved to a new spot cause the weight of it pulls on the pin so much let alone shelves and frames! I know it's totally adorable to have stuff particularly the name over the crib but to me baby's safety is more important.

We simply moved the crib an inch or so from the wall so if his name sign falls, it won’t fall in the crib. We also used anchors to keep it in place.

I think it's dumb and pointless. What, just to be cute? Your baby is the cutest part of that room and deserves to be as safe as possible. I don't put anything on the walls in my baby's room, but I definitely wouldn't put anything over the crib or the changing table.
It's like when I see women putting bumpers in the crib even though they know it's not safe, they just do what they want and not what's best for their child. Just weird to me.

You’ve got at least a year before baby is big enough and coordinated enough to snatch things off the wall, and by then you can move them up or away.
