Mucus plug!!!???? Should I get my hospital bag ready just in case????

34 weeks and starting to lose my mucus plug.  Anyone else? I'm freaking out a bit since with my firstborn I lost the plug 2 days before my due date and gave birth on my due date. Obgyn office said its normal and I did have my cervix checked, no dilation yet - Thank God!

I was told I could lose it multiple times so it isn’t a strong indicator

I definitely have no idea since I'm growing my first baby, but to me it sounds like it certainly wouldn't hurt anything to pack and it will give you peace of mind knowing that you are set if your baby were to come early. One less thing to stress about.

I lost my mucous plug with my second baby at 34 weeks and went into labor at 36w. I also had a very active job and I bet if I was able to rest more I would not have gone into early labor. So take it easy! Try and let that baby cook as long as you can!

Get it ready but it could be a couple more weeks before u go into labor

I’ve been losing chunks of mine for a few weeks. doctor said there’s nothing to worry about because it regenerates. Only get excited if you have a bloody show with it

I’d have had it ready weeks ago lol. It’s never to early to be prepared, but yes as a pp stated, it could still be a long time. Those can regenerate. I’m 31w and started packing mine already
