PCOS??

Hi! This is my first post, I'm struggling and hoping someone in the same situation has any advice...
​I have PCOS, I was diagnosed about 5 years ago and have been TTC for 14 months, started bbt and CM/CP charting this month so don't have a clear  picture of what is happening yet but as is  probably all too familiar with anyone who has this my cycles are all over the place! They range from 35 days to over a year, I take medication every 10 weeks to induce a bleed (after hpt everytime and nothing but BFNs)
​I have read you can ovulate without having periods but I guess until I get some positive OPKs I won't know for sure if I'm lucky enough to be one of those who do,
Last period ended about 16 days ago and today I've noticed light pink spotting when I wipe (TMI!!) an had cramps a little for 2 days, my temps have spiked and then dropped again in the last week, could this be signs I ovulated and the opk didn't pick it up it I did it at the wrong time?
​Anyway my question is mostly does anyone with PCOS know they ovulate regularly? Is it a 'normal' cycle at least with ovulation?

I was diagnosed in April and I have no idea if I do or not. My BBT charting has been hit and miss and I just cant figure out the CM thing. Looking for a long term TTC buddy with PCOS if anyone is interested.

My dr explained that you ovulate 14 days before you're next period, this helps if you have a long but regular cycle.

I've been on Clomid for just over 1 year as I too have PCOS. 6 months ago my consultant advised me my hormones were sky high and cycles finally regular. Still nothing happening though as yet ( fingers crossed). You should ask your consultant about Clomid. X

Hi, I too have PCOS. I struggled for Years to get my weight down and I'm finally in my BMI, my dr prescribes me metformin and I take two tablets a day. I persuded him to let me have a progesterone test now my weight is Down and it showed that I did ovulate. 
​Getting my weight down has had such a positive affect, so fingers crossed we will conceive soon. Good luck everyone! X

Yes I mentioned it to my doctor but they have been reluctant to do anything other than tell me it's my own fault for not being the ideal BMI and that it'd be a waste of everyone's time to bother... The weights coming off but slowly so I'm hoping soon they'll give in and actually do something!

​I'm on cd21 now and AF! no idea what's going on but maybe I've done something right and some hormones are actually working

I have PCOS as well and my cycles usually range from 35-44 days. I do get positive OPK's and they are accurate (as far as I can tell), since I get AF exactly 14 days after my positive OPK. Hope this helps!

I have PCOS as well. According to my doctor the best thing u can do is get the PCOS under control first, get ur periods regulated, u can do this by taking birth control or metformin, then start TTC!
