Is two weeks 5 days after ovulation to early to detect on ultrasound??

Question

Had ultrasound done at 2 weeks 5 days after conception ... so 4 days after positive test they said they couldn’t see anything except thicker uterine I have another scan next week, so hoping to see something by then... the scan I had was private!! But maybe was to early ??

Way early. They even have trouble at 6 weeks sometimes. 7-8 weeks is the earliest I’ve seen anything on a scan. With my daughter, I had a bleed at 6 weeks and went in for an emergency US - they were only able to see the sac at that point.

Super early. I could hardly see my baby at 6 weeks , it says 7 weeks but I was measuring a week behind .

Your hcg needs to be above 2500 to show anything in a scan.

Way too early I wouldn’t have even bothered with going in for an ultrasound unless you have had a history with miscarriage. 
I had my first scan at 5w6d and you couldn’t see the baby through a regular ultrasound just the yolk sac. But the baby was visible through transvaginal.

Far too early! Was it abdominal or vaginal. My doc did my first ultrasound at 7.5 weeks and wouldn’t even do an abdominal ultrasound because she said they wouldn’t be able to see something so small yet. If you weren’t even 3 wks and did an abdominal, there’s probably no chance of seeing anything. I mean at my first, 7.5 wks remember, the fetus was only 6 centimeters! That’s sooo small!
