I don't know why all of these people are saying that it's normal. its definitely not normal but try not to worry too much. call your doctor or go to the er

Any bleeding should be reported to your midwife/doctor so they can assess you and check on baby. 
With my daughter I had 4 instances of bright red bleeding by 12 weeks and she's a healthy 2 year old; however I've also had 2 miscarriages in the last year, so it could really go either way.

If it’s bright red or darker you need to tell your doctor and get it checked out. Light pink spotting is normal anything else is not. I bleed twice in my pregnancy and everything turned out fine for me.

What was the bleeding like? Spotting can be common but is never normal per se. See your Dr!
