Anyone else out there having trouble announcing your pregnancy to your families? I'm 14 weeks and haven't told anyone in my family. 3 friends/co-workers know and the instructors at my Barre studio 💪🏼😁... But that's it. I don't have trouble telling strangers but I've punked out TWICE telling my parents and sibs. ☹️

I have a great relationship with them. We are all friends but I just can't seem to do it. I don't really know why. I'm the youngest (but 32 y/o) and all my sibs have kids ages 6-14. So it isn't the first grandkid and probably won't be a big deal but I keep chickening out.

We haven't told my in-laws yet either but that's because this will be their first grandkid and I know I won't be able to handle all the attention and questions and feelings. I'm not a feeler and I really hate being the center of attention. And I really hate how everyone feels so entitled to your pregnancy like their opinions are gold.

My husband just goes with it now. He says I'm just going to show up one day either really pregnant or holding a baby and be like... Surprise! 😂

My new deadline is Thanksgiving 🦃. Everyone will be there so I'm telling myself it will be like a bandaid... Just rip it off all at once!
