My son is 5 and a half months old - me and my husband started weaning him a little with some baby rice last week - have been giving it every second day really... he is a breastfed baby so I’ve been mixing the baby rice with my breast milk on the spot expressing into a baby bowl!

I’ve found it’s easier to make it up in the morning before he eats but he seems to be getting up quite early at the moment not giving me time to make up his baby rice - therefore he eats and drains my boobs ! Which means hardly any milk for his baby rice !

I was just wondering if I could give a breast fed baby formula in his baby rice ? Am I allowed to do this? Or water ? Just trying to think of ways incase situations like this morning happen again! 🙄 any advice is appreciated !
