Post-partum essentials?

Hi, FTM  here🤰expecting my baby girl in January! Please share your post-partum and breastfeeding essentials with me - which things have made your life easier?

For breastfeeding make a breast feeding basket snacks chap stick big glass for water remote phone charger. During cluster sessions it feels like your nursing forever so its good to have everything near you.
Breastfeeding super dehydrates you so make sure you are drinking a ton of water or your milk supply can go down and you can get constipated which is definitely no fun pp.
Pp essentials ibuprofen, prenatals, freezer meals or easy meals, stock up on household essentials,

Look up how to make the witch hazel aloe pads that you put in the freezer. Get dermoplast spray that numbs down there. Get nursing pads because you will leak a lot. There are purple freezer ice packs in the baby isle that are nice and get the nipple cream as well. Stock up on some maxi pads or depends underwear. Boppy pillow is very helpful to our baby in correct position.

Ice packs! Take as many as you can from the hospital! And the mesh panties. Take Motrin around the clock. The boopy has helped me a ton with breastfeeding.

Definitely have a basket you can put wherever you breastfeed and can move around the house! Have water, snacks, phone charger, hair ties, Chapstick, nipple cream, burp cloths and anything else you want.
I loved a boppy pillow! I also recommend a small pump like a Haaka or any brand manual pump. It's great to stick in your basket. A newborn has a tiny mouth and early on when you are engorged your nipples are hard to get into the right shape to go in the tiny mouth. Pumping even about 30 seconds can really help get boobs and nipples into a shape that's much easier for breastfeeding 😊
