Miscarriage??? 5 weeks 6days

Took test oct 20 vvvvvfl

23rd confirmed preg with digital test BFP

October 30 went to ER (found it I had gallstones) also confirmed pregnancy with blood work (hcg 400) doc said ultrasound shows baby is 5 weeks 6 days

November 1 light light pink discharge so I go back to ER, ultrasound lady sees no sac and no baby

Blood work shows hcg is 288

I haven’t had bleeding, no cramps, no pain (except in my heart) and I still feel preg and have very BFp test...

Anyone’s doctor ever wrong about a miscarriage?? Am I looking for hope that isn’t there?? What’s going on? Why haven’t I bled yet?? could the doc be wrong?? This is so tormenting!!
