Braxton hicks?

How early did you get Braxton hicks and what do they feel like? I'm only 17 weeks, but I'm wondering if that is what I've been experiencing. My uterus will tense up along with some cramping.

I started feeling them around 13 wks,  just the tensing up of the stomach and then a release after like a minute. Around 18wks I started getting that cramping feeling (like period pains). Still contact your doctor, if they aren't worried then it will at least be documented. when I told mine, he wanted to know how frequent they were. Mine only happen a few times a week. He said as long as there was no spotting and it didn't become closer and more frequent, not to worry.

Mine started at 21/22 weeks but it is possible to start earlier... I was contracting during an earlier ultrasound but I didn't feel it. But they seen it and told me lol now I feel them and I hate them because I keep remembering labor with my others lol

Felt my first one around 25 weeks. It was like period cramping and last a few minutes
