36 weeks.. Dr won't check me

My doctor won't check me, I was told by the doctors secretary that she would be checking me today... the doctor came in and just did a swab for strep... But did not check me.

Last time I was checked was kid October when they sent me to the hospital because I was having early labor signs and I was 1 cm.. 20 effaced.

They checked me at the hospital and I was 1 cm 40 effaced and it's been 3 almost 4 weeks since I have been checked. Should I schedule to see a new doctor? As they suggested I do.. help
