No epidural?!

Hi ladies!
We have recently moved to a new town and I found out they don’t offer an epidural during labour and delivery. I had one with my daughter and once I got it, it was pretty much smooth sailing. I was planning on having one this time around but now it’s not an option. I need some positive vibes and insight on birth with out an epidural as I am now scared to death 💀.

I wouldn't go somewhere where it's not even an option. You never know what will happen even with a plan to go natural.

I’ve never had an epidural and I’m on my 4th baby. I think you’ll be fine honestly. Im not going to sugar coat how painful it is...yes it hurts like hell, but I always look at it as one more pain is one pain less! And when it comes to pushing your pushing the pain away and will soon be holding your baby. Once you’ve delivered your baby you forget the pain. Just think..women have been doing this without epidurals for centuries. You can do it 💪🏻

I’m pregnant with my 3rd baby boy and my first two I had without epidural at all I’m not sure if I’m going to get one with this one or not but we’ll see but when I gave birth to my first 2 at 18 and 21 years old I did it without epidural by choice and I’m not going to sugar coat it it’s going to hurt like hell but is women were made for this type of pain and we can do it just breath deeply through each contraction and keep in mind the goal which is delivering your baby and just think about the fact that you’re about to hold your sweet baby in your arms soon once the pain is over and you’re holding your baby you will forget all about the pain

I had the epidural with my first two, and I'm definitely going to with this one too once I can't handle the pain anymore. 
Personally, I would refuse to deliver anywhere that it wasn't an option. It should always be an option so that mothers have a choice as to if they want to go natural or with the pain relief assistance of the epidural. 
You shouldn't be forced to go natural just because of where you live. It is not right for them to take that choice away from mothers in that area. There should always be a choice.
How far is the nearest hospital that does offer the epidural for any mothers that may want it? I'd personally choose to deliver there so at least then I would be able to decide for myself if I want to deliver naturally or if I need the epidural after all. 
I'm in awe of and admire all the mommas that have delivered naturally, especially the mommas that have for several of their kiddos. I'll never be one of them though because I just can't handle the pain after a certain point. 
Anyway, those are just my opinions. 
Ultimately it's entirely up to you if you want to deliver there naturally, which I'm sure with the guidance of these other awesome mommas that have delivered naturally that you'd be great, or if you want to travel to the next closest hospital that does offer the epidural should you decide you want it.

I reccomend reading mama naturals book for pregnancy and childbirth! it's such a good read, puts you in the right mindset and so easy to follow since there are lots of pictures and cute little things

I've had one with & one without but I would rather have it. I'm pregnant with my third & I will not do it without.  I can't handle a lot of pain.

Had all mine with no epidural and stitches for my first one . I'm the biggest wimp of I can I'm sure you will fine Hun . I'm on my last little baby and I'm having injections and all sorts every day for blood clots and right now I think labor is a walk in the park compared to this 😂😂😂

I didn’t have an epidural with my first and had an 18 hour labor. It’ll hurt but you can totally do it. Then you also won’t have to worry about possible epidural side effects. Plus you can get up right after and get iv removed and basically do whatever you want! It’s fantastic! There was also never a point during that 18 hours that I wanted them to stick a giant needle in my back! 😂

Mine didn't work with my first, had my second at home, having my third at home without it again.
