noticing something different..

so i’ve been on birth control since february (the pill) and i started a new pill. i’ll be starting my 4th month on it on saturday. my first month on the pill, my period was how it normally is. but the last time and this time its verrrry light, a bit watery and/or mucus-y. i have been pretty stressed out the past 2 months, which very much so could be a factor, but is it normal for your period to just switch like that? i know bc can make your periods lighter and all, but it just seems like it switched so fast. other than that, the pain level, length of my period, and when it comes have all been normal. it’s just the amount and sometimes the texture thats different. bc its not always watery and a bit mucus-y. and i know its not pregnancy or anything like that. i last had sex in august so id know if i was pregnant. long story short, idk how the female body works and im just confused
