When you were young did your parents vote and if so did they take you with them to the polls or make you part of their vote by mail process?

If you have kids do you take them to the polls?

What benefits do you think there are to this? Any drawbacks?

I know when I was young my mother took me with her and I definitely think it was beneficial. She and I may now be miles apart ideologically, but she really instilled in me the importance of voting and partaking in the political process and I appreciate that. If I had kids I’d definitely take them if I could.
