Can guys get pregnant symptoms?

My boyfriend has heartburn like crazy and he never got heartburn before and it’s been going on for a couple of weeks and now he’s starting to waking up sick everyone we talk to about it says that it’s possible for the male to get the pregnant symptoms and the female doesn’t is it true and I have tried to take a pregnancy test because I’m not feeling anything but should it ?? Just confused
