16 weeks???

Question

I’m 16 weeks. I’ll have an ultrasound at 20 weeks. Is it normal for a doctor not to do any ultrasound from 20 weeks to 32?? My doctor won’t do one unless there’s something wrong FTM here so I’m not to sure on it. Anyone else like that?

I only get two ultrasounds one at 8 weeks and another at 20 unless medically necessary

That’s very common. I get them weekly but I’m high risk because my cervix is short and I have a cerclage.

Yes unless you’re having complications you generally only have 1-2 ultrasounds sometimes 3.

My dr didn’t do one at 32, I have my 36 week apt and I think she will do one now. My last ultrasound was my 19 week scan and I did an elective 3D one that I had to pay for at 27 weeks.

thats how mine was going to be. had one at 8 weeks then another at 20 weeks. (but i ended up being high risk and get ultrasounds done weekly now.)
