Kenlee Myra Ann is here! Weighing in at 7 lbs 8 oz and 20 3/4 long. Went in yesterday for regular NST, Bp was high and not coming down so dr says we are gonna keep you and start induction ( I was already scheduled for Friday morning ). Started pitocin at 9 Monday night on low dose and inserted foley balloon catheter to get my cervix moving. I was only a finger tip. Foley catheter fell out two hours later 😳 by 7 am I was at a 3 and they broke my water and I lost mucus plug/bloody show. Went a few hours breathing thru the contractions (literally the worst pain ever) so when I got to a 4 I got the epidural. It was terrible for me just because my spine tilts funny and was at a weird angle for him to insert it 😩 so finally after ugly crying we got it in and working. I was on cloud 9 after I was numb. So then 2/3 hours later I was at a 10 woot woot! We start to push and see how low down she was. After an hour of pushing and no progress, they call a c section 😩😩😩 her head was getting caught by my pelvic bone and she was stuck basically. So they got me and hubby ready for c section and we go down, my nerves were good until they started pulling and tugging and I thought I was gonna pass out 🤢 I felt no pain but the pressure was making me ill I swear. So once they are about to get her out, they realize she had turned and that’s what was causing her to get stuck on my pelvis. After what felt like forever of tugging and pulling she was out and hearing her cry made me cry my eyes out. It was the most beautiful cry I’ve ever hear! Momma and baby are both doing great. I’m having some slight pain but it was all worth it for my sweet girl.
