On fertility medicine but so confused.

This is my second cycle. Every time before my period I spot for a week or less. Last time I asked the dr about it and he could be a cyst and to give it a day or two to see if my period actually started. It did start so we skipped that ultrasound and started the meds again. Well the meds didn’t work in my favor this month. I only follicles on my right side, that’s the side I’m missing my tube. So he said no trigger shot this month but to continue trying on our own. Well I’m just a few days away from my period and spotting has begun. They said this time to come in on cycle day 1-3 to have a scan to be sure everything is normal. So I’m just now waiting for the full flow to get this scan.

Has anyone else ever been in my situation? How did it end? If there is a cyst what do they do?
