When did your baby start waking itself regularly to feed?

My baby is 2 days old and i have to wake her to feed her still during the night and morning. Shes fine in the afternoon. She feeds 2h 2pm-11pm. Shes only 6lb13 so i have to get her weight up. When did your baby start waking regularly itself?

My daughter is a week old and she sometimes wakes up herself to eat and other times I have to still wake her up

My baby is 10 days old and I still have to wake her every 2-3 hrs to feed. She falls asleep while feeding too. The milk really relaxes them 😴 Its so hard to wake her though and we also need to get her weight up. Getting there...

At two days they tend to still be really tired from birth. I would say in the next few days they wake up more in the night

Since my son was born he ever only woke himself up once a night to eat. He. Sleeps through accept around one feeding at 2 am i consider myself blessed lol. But for a while i woke MYSELF to to pump to keep my supply up every two hours. I always just let him sleep and he is gaining weight just fine ☺

My LO is two weeks and I still have to wake her sometimes. 🤷🏼‍♀️ sometimes they are just sleepy. 
Just curious...why do you say you need to get her weight up? 6lb 13 oz is a totally healthy birth weight. Mine was born 6lb 12 oz. Keep in mind also that babies do typically lose weight in the first week. They can lose up to 10% of their birth weight (which for your babes can be up to 11 oz) and that’s still considered normal. It will go back up.

My newborn wakes herself up every 1.5 to 3 hours to BF. Maybe you are taking a medication that is making her oversleep or you are feeding her enough to last a long t ime asleep
