2 hour labor!!!

When I went to my doctor on Monday for my 39 week appt, I was 5cm dilated and 80% effaced. I was supposed to go in this morning for an induction since I’m group b strep positive and wanted time for antibiotics, but the baby had other plans!

Woke up to my first contraction around 12:20am and started timing realizing they were 2-5 minutes apart. Called the doc at 1 and headed straight to the hospital. I arrived and all of a sudden my contractions were back to back and I was screaming! No time for the epidural. 2 pushes and baby was born at 2am.

I’m a second time mom and had the epidural with my first. I feel so much better after this birth not having any drugs!
