When did your baby start crawling?

My son is six months but still not crawling. 
He can sit up and when he does tummy time he lifts his butt up and bends his knees but stops there. I can tell he wants to crawl so what can I do to encourage him?

It’s still early. Just keep doing lots of tummy time and put toys JUSSSST out of his reach so he’ll try to get them. You can also lay in front of his to encourage him to crawl for you.

My son didn't crawl til like 10 months. Then at about 13 months walked lol he's totally normal

They’re all very different! My daughter went straight to walking at 9 months. My first son was crawling before 6 months. Huge surprise! My now 7 month old is not crawling yet but he does the cute rocking on all 4s thing and shoves himself around 🤦🏻‍♀️ he’s always on his belly in his play yard and is totally strong enough I just don’t think he really wants to. They get there when they get there. Enjoy them while they’re stationary! I’m not rushing things over here. Not ready yet!

My son crawled at 6 months and two days. But every baby is different.

Not all babies crawl my youngest looked like he would, but never got past the knees and hand stage instead he decided to bum shuffle across the room at 8month old then starting walking after he turned 13months old. 6months still early wouldn’t worry hun baby crawl/bum shuffle when they want no time limit as such..
