While I was pregnant I swore I would never do anything that was “unsafe” and was going to do everything by the book. Baby WILL NOT sleep in bed with us because of SIDS risk. Well night 3 at home because she would not sleep in the bassinet she’s in bed with us now. We get great sleep too!

My husband who is super cautious was the one to suggest that she come to bed with us. He said humans have been cosleeping for thousands of years “it’s fine”.

Don’t judge any mom on their methods because they’re just doing what works for them. Sleep and sanity is more valuable to me.
