Budget!?!?

How did you ladies start budgeting for baby?? I need steps and everything!

We started just putting as much left over each week as possible into savings. Anytime diapers were on sale and I had coupons we bought to stockpile a small amount. Sign up for mailings from the formula makers. While we intended to EBF it didn’t work out and I was glad to be getting coupons from similac. And lastly, meal planning. Our biggest expense after our normal bills was food. We were bad to eat out so we started meal planning and really sticking to a grocery budget and any extra went into savings. All this enabled us to have my husband off work for 2 weeks with us and grabbing things we ended up needing without worry and paying cash for about 1/3 of the medical bills from delivery as well as having that extra set aside as we do still try to figure out how we need to adjust for groceries etc...

Haven started yet.  But what immediately comes to mind are daycare, diapers, and formula if you don’t plan on breast feeding.
