Hoping my body will go into labor on its own😭

This is my second and last pregnancy! My first was born 10/24/2016 at 41 1/2 weeks. I tried all the wives tales and everything humanly possible to get her out and my cervix was just 0. I’m getting induced on the 16th with an original due date of 11/22/18. But due to GD I’ll have to be induced at 39 weeks. I’m kinda sad because I wanted to experience going into labor naturally since I didn’t have the chance to the first time. My cervix was 0 my last appointment but I was 60% effaced. I’m not trying anything this time around because baby will come when he’s ready but it just kinda sucks. Anyone else experiencing the same feelings?
