I know I’m not the only one dealing with one. 😅 I think what initially got to me was her asking me to miss my family’s Christmas every other year. We have three kids that would like to spend time and see all Grandparents. It just so happens that both families celebrate on Christmas <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android.eve">Eve</a>, which worked perfect because we then dedicate Christmas Day just to our kids. This was never an issue until last year. And I’ll be damned that she tries to decide our family traditions. Hell, she can even start at 11am and go to 6pm so she has us most of the day... but she’d rather make it later in the day and only have us for a few hours and complain about it. (That’s what she did last year) And I contemplated changing my family’s into earlier in the day but it doesn’t make sense because we celebrate at my house and my kids have to go to bed, so we couldn’t stay late at my in laws anyway. 🤷‍♀️ I can’t see how I’m being unreasonable by wanting to make time for both families each year.

I know it seems like a pretty civil conversation, but knowing my Mother in Law, it’s not. She stops texting when she’s mad... and well, she ignored my last text.
