I would say your pregnant again you wouldnt have left over hormones. As they are only produced from the placenta and when you give birth the pleasenta is also taken ( or in early pregnacy the yoke sack untill thw plecenta is formed)

I would guess it’s leftover. I would wait a few days and if it gets darker then you may be pregnant. If it stays the same or lightens then I would assume leftover from your last pregnancy.
