Friend's Wedding

One of my best friends is getting married next year. I'm one of the bridesmaids.

She and the groom are close to some parents of the bridal party, so they decided to invite the entire families of the entire bridal party.

In total, they're inviting 400+ people but are hoping a max of 300 RSVP due to budget constraints. Im not married myself but I feel like you should only invite close friends and family and then also only invite as many people as you want to come.

I know when I get married her parents 100% won't be invited 😝

Now I know she's not close to my family. She couldn't give a flying fadoodle whether they came or not. She has outright said she invited all the bridal party's families to "be fair".

My family will ask me whether they should come. I'm torn of whether or not to tell them not to to save her the money or leave it up to them...

Side note, I know my parents will send money or a gift regardless.
