Irresponsible

Does anyone have a husband/SO that is unbelievably careless and irresponsible? Just came home and he left food in the oven that almost burned, and the whole time he was outside playing video games for over an hour. He once left in the morning for a job interview and left the front door OPEN. It’s a good thing I was home that day because who knows what would’ve happened. Lost his temper and threw his iPhone against some concrete and shattered it. Never locks his car doors. Once left my car in the driveway with all the doors and the glovebox with all the paperwork OPEN just sitting there. He recently left a $200 pair of sunglasses at work and got mad that somebody else took them. I could go on and on. If it were just small things like forgetting to turn on the dishwasher or leaving a grocery list at home I wouldn’t be so concerned, but it seems like he’s just making big, costly mistakes all the time. When I try to remind him, he just makes excuses or gets mad and pouts. Does anyone have a similar situation and how did you handle it?
