Period Problems After Birth

I gave birth to my 19 month old and ever since my period been irregular. It started off normal for the first 2 months then after that I kept on bleeding none stop for 6 months day after day and decided to go to my obgyn. To make my period stop now I don’t get my period at all my last period was in September and mind you we are in November now. I’m only 25 what are ways in order to have my period back on track?
