Ultrasound photo help

So I’m adopting a little one due in Feb. This is the 26 week ultrasound and I can’t make out the face lol. I see the face and I know he’s looking towards you in the picture, but I wasn’t at the appointment and have never had children of my own, so the ultrasounds just look weird to me. I apologize for my ignorance, but it looks like his eyes are open lol. Idk it just looks weird. Can anyone help me understand it a little better.
