Fussy in the evening

Why is my baby more fussy in the evening than any other time if the day? During the day she will nurse maybe be awake for 10-20 minutes then take a nap. Throughout the day she keeps this up, takes small cat naps after feedings, she’s never awake for very long after feedings...and usually has no trouble falling asleep. Sometimes she will want me to hold her and other times she content in her swing or somewhere else. Come evening time (when my husband gets home) she gets really fussy and she’s not content...she stays awake longer after feedings and is just overall fussier. I feel bad for my husband because he tried to spend time with her but she’s always fussin and sometimes he can’t get her to calm down but then as soon as she passed to me she’s better. She also eats more often in the evenings (every hour oppose to every 1 1/2-2 like during the day) almost every time after feeding (like 10-20 minutes later) she does this screaming/crying thing for a few minutes and sometimes she will fall asleep after that and other times it takes her a little longer. So when she does this and can’t calm down after a little while I think she hungry so then I go to warm up a bottle and the minute I do this she has fallen asleep...or if I put her on to nurse she will suck for a second or two and fall asleep. Would this fussiness just be tiredness or what? Last night we tried feeding her a little more to see if she would still do the screaming thing and sure enough she did...I don’t understand this. Anyone have a explanation...?
