Whats yalls first dates?

Me and a friend were talking about first dates and hers was big. They went to a fancy restaurant then to the movies then ended it at DQ. That sounds nice but not for me i dont like fancy restaurants and me and my SO cant agree on movies😂 our first date was new years eve it was freezing cold and he actually walked to the park with me we ate cotton candy and kissed when it turned 12. I felt so lucky he did this because he knew it make me happy. Hes the first guy that i ever considered took me on a date. None of my ex's would do that. I love him so much❤❤❤ It may just be my pregnancy hormones but i feel like im walking on air about something that happened a long time ago😍😍😍

My now husband and I used to work together. He worked in the warehouse and I did the office work. He used to pick on me ALL THE TIME and when I realized it was because he was interested I said, "Sorry I don't date coworkers."
He was going to school and, when he finished, got a job elsewhere. We had kept in touch but we had a close knit group of coworkers and we all kept in touch even as we moved on in life.
About a year later he called me up and asked if I wanted to go for beer pizza and the hockey game (yes I am Canadian). Sure why not. He said he'd pick me up. Nothing new there. Shows up at my door with a dozen roses in hands. That WAS new. Pretty sure all I said was, "F*** you man this is a date!" to which he said, "Glad that's clear. Do you still want to go? It's not like we are coworkers anymore." 
I decided to humor him and see where things went. Aaaand here we are 7 years later married with a baby on the way!

We met in the dorms in college. So we just hung out in the dorms together. No formal first date to speak of.

For our first date we were in college and my husband didn’t have a car, and I found out later he felt like a bum asking me to drive so instead he borrowed two cool bikes from a friend. So we biked to this cool cafeteria-type restaurant nearby and listened to their live music. I remember we laughed because after you got your food from the buffet-type area you could grab a drink out of the cooler. We both had Chinese food and weirdly we both grabbed chocolate milk to go with it! 😂 It was the most thoughtful date I’d ever been taken on, with lots of time to get to know each other during the bike ride. Obviously he was a keeper. 😍

My husband met me at a coffee shop for our first date. It was in a cute little downtown area I had never been to, so everything there was new to me. We sat out on the patio at the coffee shop for a little while, then walked to a park and talked and dog watched. When it started getting dark, we walked to a bar and ended up staying there talking until they closed for the night. We ended up going out for dinner the very next day.

well spoke on a dating site for about 3 days then met up in the town centre and went to a pub for a couple of drinks... however about half hour in he goes I'm sorry I've got to quickly go meet a friend to give them something but to wait there for him (I thought he ditched me as he didn't like me so I thought if he not back in half hour I'm going) so I waited for him even though I thought it was a little rude but I liked him so I bit my tounge then not even 5 mins after he left he text me saying "first impressions I like you" I was thinking  like aww but still not waiting more then half an hour for you lol well he came back about 10 mins later and carried on with our date after he apologised for that then went for a walk back into the town centre and went in opposite ways then met up again the next day I think it was may be the day after and just went walking around town/shopping then a week or so later it kinda went "wrong" ..... well a month later we were together properly and been together nearly 7 years now and got 1 child together and 1 on the way .... actually it was nearly exactly 7 years ago we had our first date (15th Nov) lol

we met on a dating site, our first date was bowling, we both brought a friend so it wouldn't be weird meeting someone off the internet. it worked so well, I'm shy and he's extremely shy. so while others were bowling we could talk but we had an excuse to get up and walk away for a second to come up with new things 😂 
I by accident invited him out on Valentine's day without realizing it (it was free pizza night at bowling thats all I cared about!) 
when I apologized at one point he was all mumbles and pulled out a little box or candy with a Snoopy dog keychain on it. 
our second date was dinner and a movie (one day later) and the day after that we went to Lazer tag. 
now every Valentine's day we get each other something with Snoopy.

My now husband took me to the zoo for a 1st date 😊... then we went back to his place to watch movies/hang out then we went out to dinner at some random place (wasn’t planned we were just enjoying hanging out and weren’t ready to say good night) then we went back to his place and continued to hang out and I don’t think I left his place till midnight... all up our 1st date lasted about 12 hrs or so 😍

My husband was not from my area. He drive 3.5 hours just to spend the day with me. so I took him to one of my favorite tourist places,  we went mini golfing then to the grocery store to get stuff to make dinner. He came back to my house and we had steaks on the grill and veggies. And then he drove back home that night. My parents lived with me at the time and while he was in the kitchen I went into the living room and said to my mom “can I keep him?”  😋 funny side story. When he got home that night...very late. He sat on his toilet and it broke a pipe off the wall. So he didn’t call or text right away to let me know he made it home safely. It took him a while to fix the problem and clean up the water mess and then text me.
